Barbie Forteza channeled 1940s men’s fashion in her latest Instagram post, trading her usual vaudeville-era dresses for a sharp, masculine look while exploring the historic streets of Intramuros. The Kapuso Primetime Princess rocked a tan collared polo, navy blue vest, and brown trousers, paired with black leather loafers. To complete the outfit, she tucked her long hair under a classic newsboy cap.
In her witty caption, she wrote, “Disguise in love with you pare,” reflecting her playful take on the look. Barbie currently stars as Adelina, a vaudeville entertainer, in the historical series Pulang Araw, which airs on GMA Prime and Netflix.
Pulang Araw is also the sole Philippine project nominated for the Best Soap/Telenovela category at the 2024 Venice TV Award.
