Ninong Ry’s Malabon Home Flooded Amid Typhoon Carina, Keeps Spirits High with Humor

Ninong Ry, the popular food content creator, found his home in Malabon flooded due to the intense Typhoon Carina. Despite the challenging situation, he managed to maintain a light-hearted attitude, sharing his experience on social media with a touch of humor.

On Facebook, Ninong Ry posted photos of his kitchen, editing room, and garage, all partially submerged in floodwater. “Balita ko di na kayo binahaba sa Malabon ah? Kami na tiga Malabon,” he quipped, highlighting the ongoing flood in his area.

On Instagram, he shared a Reel of himself in pajamas, wading through calf-deep water as he moved a motorcycle to a dry, elevated spot. “Carwash lang, medyo madumi eh,” he joked, adding that it was an underwash to ensure the bike was “malinis na malinis.”

He humorously introduced his new venture, “Boy Baha Underwash Cleaning Services,” claiming they used mineral water in their cleaning pool for superior results. “Kaya sa lahat ng interesado, click niyo nalang ‘yung mukha ko, baka may lumabas,” he added.

In another Reel from his editing room, Ninong Ry and his team were seen securing computer wires to ensure safety. Despite the dire circumstances, Ninong Ry, still in his pajamas, joked about his private parts being submerged in floodwater. “Iligo mo na yan, p’re,” one staff member said, to which Ninong Ry responded, “Taga-Malabon ako p’re. Kontektado na ko sa tubig.”

Amidst the jokes, Ninong Ry praised his editor, Jerome, for continuing to work diligently despite the flooding.

Several areas in Metro Manila, including Quezon City, Marikina, Pasay, and Malabon, have experienced flooding due to Typhoon Carina and heavy downpours from the Habagat.
