Kuya Kim Atienza is one proud dad to his three children, Jose, Eliana, and Emmanuelle. On Friday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” the “TiktoClock” host shared his joy over his kids’ recent milestones, particularly highlighting Jose’s recent graduation.
“Ang inaanak mo, nag-graduate sa Tufts University sa Boston two weeks ago,” Kuya Kim told Tito Boy. “Nanggaling kami sa America.”
Kuya Kim expressed that while he had always dreamed of studying abroad, he wasn’t able to achieve it. However, seeing his children reach these milestones fulfills his dreams through them. “Hindi ko naabot pero dahil naabot ng mga anak ko ‘yan. Unang-una si Jose, si Eliana sophomore na ngayon, at ‘yung pangatlo naman ay papasok na rin sa America. Fulfilled ako kasi parang ako na rin ‘yon,” he said.
Jose, who studied economics and trained as a pilot, has already flown his father and sister from Manila to La Union. He shares his father’s passion for running and scooters, having recently completed his first 32-kilometer run and gone on a long scooter ride to Cavite with Kuya Kim.
Eliana, his second child, is known for her bravery and strong convictions. Recently, she made headlines after being kicked out of her dorm for participating in an anti-Israel protest. Kuya Kim admires her courage and independence, saying, “May sarili siyang utak. Napakatapang niya at hinahangaan ko siya kahit na kontrobersyal dahil hati ang tao diyan pero may paninindigan at ayan ay proud ako sa kaniya.”
His youngest, Emmanuelle, is described as very creative and has potential for a career in Sparkle, GMA’s talent development and management arm.
Kuya Kim and his wife Felicia are proud parents who share a love for animals, having over 30 pets, including dogs, koi fish, birds, iguanas, and tortoises.
