Jillian Ward is set to bring her character from “Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap,” Doc Analyn Santos, into the adrenaline-pumping world of “Black Rider.” The GMA Prime series, starring Ruru Madrid as the titular character Elias Guerrero, will feature Ward in a cameo that promises to blend medical drama with high-octane motorcycle action.
During a segment on “24 Oras,” Jillian expressed her excitement and initial nervousness about performing stunts, particularly riding a motorcycle for the first time. “Nakakakaba po kasi ngayon lang ako sumakay ng motor pero siyempre andito naman po ang ating napakagaling na si Sir Ruru kaya medyo nawala po kaagad ang kaba ko,” she shared.
Ruru Madrid, playing the vigilant protector on his bike, reassured Jillian and viewers about the safety and care taken during their scenes. “Siyempre kumbaga nakasalalay sa akin ang buhay ni Jillian Ward, kailangan talaga nating ingatan,” he commented, highlighting the cautious approach they took to gradually escalate the intensity of the motorcycle scenes.
The storyline for Jillian’s appearance as Doc Analyn in “Black Rider” is set to unfold from the narrative arcs of “Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap,” eventually intertwining her character’s journey with that of Black Rider. “Magagamot ko po si Black Rider,” Jillian revealed, setting the stage for her character to play a crucial role in a dramatic shootout scene where she treats Black Rider’s injuries.
This cameo marks another crossover appearance for Jillian’s character, following her role in the hit murder-mystery series “Royal Blood” last year. Such crossover roles are becoming a popular trend in television, offering fans of different shows a unique blend of storytelling elements.
In addition to her television work, Jillian Ward is gearing up for an international project, as she is scheduled to fly out of the country next month for a movie shoot with Ken Chan. Fans of Jillian can catch her exciting cameo on “Black Rider,” which airs weeknights at 8 p.m. on GMA Prime, right after “24 Oras.”
