Lisa of Blackpink Embarks on Solo Journey with RCA Records

Lisa, the globally renowned member of the K-pop group Blackpink, has officially signed with RCA Records, a prestigious label under Sony Music Entertainment. Announced by Sony Music Entertainment Korea, this collaboration marks a significant step in Lisa’s solo music career as she prepares to introduce her solo album to the global audience.

In a recent press statement, Lisa expressed her enthusiasm about joining the RCA family, confident in their ability to amplify her solo endeavors. “I am super excited to be joining the RCA family and I am confident they are the best team to create a bigger movement in my solo career. Looking forward to showing the world everything we have been preparing,” she said.

RCA Records’ leadership, including chairman and CEO Peter Edge and COO John Fleckenstein, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing Lisa’s exceptional talent and her status as a “multidimensional talent and an irrefutable global force.”

A significant aspect of this partnership is that Lisa will retain full ownership of her recordings under RCA Records, providing her considerable autonomy over her creative outputs. This move comes alongside her venture into the acting world, with a role in HBO’s drama series “The White Lotus Season 3.” Additionally, she has founded her own label, Lloud, earlier in February to further her vision in music and entertainment.

Despite her solo activities, Lisa remains a committed member of Blackpink, as all four artists have renewed their exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment for group projects.
