Pasig River Ferry Halts for Holy Week Number Coding Scheme Suspended

The Pasig River Ferry Service will pause its operations from March 28 to March 30 to mark the Holy Week, encompassing Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Black Saturday. Services are slated to resume on April 1. In tandem with the ferry suspension, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced a temporary lift of the number coding scheme during these dates, offering some traffic relief. However, bus lanes will continue to be restricted to authorized vehicles throughout the holiday period.

This operational break and traffic adjustment are part of the city’s observance of the Holy Week, allowing for a smoother transit experience during the significant religious observance.
