MRT3 Announces Holy Week Shutdown for Maintenance

The Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT3) in the Philippines will halt services from March 28 to 31 during Holy Week to conduct its yearly maintenance activities. The Department of Transportation-MRT3 informed the public through social media that operations would pause from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday, with regular services concluding on Holy Wednesday, March 27. The last trains will depart at 9:30 p.m. from North Avenue Station and at 10:09 p.m. from Taft Avenue Station on that day.

Services are scheduled to resume on April 1, Monday, with the first trains departing at 4:30 a.m. from North Avenue Station and at 5:05 a.m. from Taft Avenue Station, returning to normal operation hours. This maintenance period is part of the MRT3’s ongoing efforts to ensure safety and efficiency in its transit operations.
