(This is ₱500 for two months and 1,000 for 9.3 million households. Maybe it will be given to those affected by inflation in a few weeks.)
The agency also promises to keep rolling out its fuel discount program for farmers and fishermen and its Kadiwa Program.
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will keep track of the 9.3 million people eligible for P1,000 assistance.
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the rate fell to 8.6% in February from 8.7% in January. However, only the transportation group contributed to the February price decrease, while nine commodity groups continued to show rising inflation.
