After having audiences holding their breaths during that “hidden card heist” scene in “Now You See Me 2” (2016), the action franchise, which has grossed $687 million worldwide, is getting a third installment.
Ruben Fleischer, whose works include “Zombieland”, “Uncharted”, and “Venom”, is set to direct the magical mayhem for “Now You See Me 3”, with Seth Grahame-Smith of “Pride And Prejudice And Zombies” taking on its screenplay.
The storyline and release date for the third chapter of the Four Horsemen’s adventure have yet to be revealed.

However, Fleischer’s statement seems to confirm the return of two main stars of the film. “There are three things in this world I absolutely love… Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson and magic. To have the chance to work with these two talented actors, as well as rest of the incredible cast of the ‘Now You See Me’ movies is a dream come true. I am a lifelong fan of heist movies – I love getting drawn in by the twists and the mystery where nothing is what it seems. And that’s even more true when the thieves are magicians – the opportunities are endless,” the director said.
