
MANILA, Philippines – After temporary suspension of the exemption, Taiwan has once again allowed tourists from the Philippines to visit their country visa-free, which resumed on Sept. 29 and will be applicable until July 31, 2023.
Philippine nationals are allowed to stay up to 14 days in their country, and this cannot be extended.
Some of the requirements posted by the Bureau of Consular Affairs include:
- A passport with remaining validity of at least six months as of the date of entry
- A confirmed return air/sea ticket or air/sea ticket and a visa for the next destination, and a confirmed seat reservation for departure flight.
- Holders of Brunei, Philippines and Thailand passports: A proof of accommodation (hotel) booking, host / sponsor’s contact information and sufficient travel funds.
