After five years of embodying Gen. Diana Olegario, Angel Aquino finally said goodbye to her ‘Ang Probinsyano’ character.
In her latest Instagram post, Aquino said she wanted to say goodbye to the “patriotic, selfless, strongest, toughest, most courageous woman” she had the honor of portraying.
Aquino also said that she relearned to love the country through her portrayal of the character.
During the finale of the series, Gen. Saludo sacrificed her life for Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin) and President Oscard Hidalgo (Rowell Santiago).
Aquino expressed that she will never forget this character. She closed the post by saying, “Now rock and roll in Probinsyano heaven.”
