
HANOI, Vietnam –West Point Esports (WPE), the Philippines’ official representative in the League of Legends category in the 31st Southeast Asian Games, departs to Hanoi Vietnam to secure a medal finish for our country against the top teams in Southeast Asia.

The team is spearheaded by team captain and mid laner, Andre “Calumnia” Soriano. In-charge of the bot lane are WPE’s legendary duo, Season 11 PH server’s tops 1 and 2, David “Yjy” Tapang and Jan Edward “Cresho” Hortizuela. The player in charge of the the shot calls in the game is the jungler, former PPGL champion, Jan Raphael “Revelate” Retance. The top lane is manned by Hezro “Parzival” Canlas.
The coach tapped for the SEA Games is Van “Vansu” Alfonso, former pro player and coach of highly competitive teams both here and abroad.
WPE, a regular fixture in the local tournaments, has won 31 championships here in the Philippines and 3 in other Southeast Asian countries in a span of 3 years.
They have a dedicated training facility in Angeles City Pampanga which they used to prepare for the SEA Games.
The team aims to pull off an upset against pro teams in other countries and add more medals in the country’s current run in the SEA Games.
