In a statement shared by Soompi, SM Entertainment reported that Irene, Joy, and Yeri initially tested positive using self-testing kits. This prompted them to take PCR tests that confirmed their positive results. All three members have received the second dose of their vaccines. They’re currently receiving at home treatment and aren’t exhibiting any symptoms.

The agency further assured that Seulgi and Wendy remain negative even after further testing.

Initially set for March 19 and 20, Red Velvet’s upcoming concert The ReVe Festival: Prologue is postponed due to the artists’ conditions. All tickets will be refunded. The rescheduling of the event will be decided after assessing the idols’ health.

SM Entertainment assured that Red Velvet’s new mini album The ReVe Festival 2022 – Feel My Rhythm will be released as scheduled on March 21.

Aside from Irene, Joy, and Yeri, multiple other K-pop idols have tested positive for COVID as South Korea faces a surge in daily infections.
