MANILA, Philippines — Three members of the Philippine Air Force were killed after their vehicle crashed into the concrete barriers and caught fire along the southbound lane of EDSA Santolan- Cubao.

Authorities from the Air Force confirmed that 4 people were involved in the vehicular accident of a Honda City car along EDSA. One was able to escape and was later on brought to the hospital.

“The accident involved four PAF personnel, wherein three were confirmed dead. The only survivor was brought to a hospital for immediate medical treatment,” PAF said in a statement.

“This accident is under investigation and no details yet as to the circumstances which led to this event,” according to Lt. Col. Maynard Mariano, chief of the Air Force Public Affairs Office.
