MANILA, Philippines — Star City will once again be open to the public this coming February 24, Thursday, after more than 2 years of being non-operational.
The park’s schedule will accommodate guests from Thursday to Sunday, from 12 NN to 8 PM.
After a massive fire ravaged most of the theme park’s amenities last October 2, 2019, a temporary shutdown was necessary for reconstruction.
Star City was supposed to reopen last January 14, 2022, but due to the country’s Alert Level 3 state at the time, the date had to be postponed.
Now at Alert Level 2, Star City will be following IATF guidelines: 50 percent indoor venue capacity and 70 percent for outdoor capacity.
Wearing of face masks inside the vicinity will be strictly observed.
As for vaccination status, guests below 18 years old are welcome regardless of whether or not they have received their Covid-19 vaccine.
However, guests 18 years old and above must be fully vaccinated to gain entry, and must present their vaccination cards at the entrance gate.
Star City, located in Pasay City, incurred PHP1 billion worth of damage due to the fire incident in 2019.
With its reopening, guests will once again be able to enjoy its popular attractions like Snow World, Star Frisbee, and Star Flyer among others.
