Andrew Garfield revealed on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast that his Spider-Man brothers Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland reached out to him after the announcement of his Oscar nomination. Garfield is nominated for Best Actor for his role in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s “Tick, Tick…Boom!”

In an interview with Josh Horowitz, Garfield said “I got a sweet, sweet text from Tom and Tobey. Very, very sweet. The Spider-Brothers are in action today and they’re being very, very supportive. It’s very, very lovely.”
He said, “Every now and then, someone would blow it up and then we’ll chat for an hour or two and then it always ends with, ‘Love you guys.’ Garfield also enthused that it has been fun getting to know his Spider-Man co-stars.
He continued to share how they always pick up the conversation whenever their movie breaks another record. “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has earned $750 million and counting in the US alone. Worldwide the movie’s gross has amassed $1.7 billion, making it the highest grossing Sony Pictures movie in history.
