Marian Rivera is scheduled to fly out to Israel on December 6 for Miss Universe 2021. In an online virtual conference, Rivera confirmed that she was chosen by the Miss Universe Organization to judge in the celebrated beauty contest.
Rivera shared that she accepted the offer seeing as it is a once in a lifetime experience. She is expected to assess participants during the preliminary competition, closed-door interviews, and the coronation night.

The actress also expounded saying that she’s looking forward to seeing the women’s bravery, humanity, and dedication to change.
Rivera’s appointment as one of the judges for the 70th Miss Universe competition was met with online bashers.
She addressed these saying, “Kinuha nila ako para sa aking body of work bilang isang Filipina.
Notable Filipinas who have been part of the judging panel include Tony Award recipient Lea Salonga and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach.
