PH Passport Ranks 82nd Most Powerful Passport, Can Access 66 Destinations Visa-Free

MANILA, Philippines– The Philippine passport was named as the 82nd most powerful passport out of 116 nations in the 2021 Henley Passport Index released this week.

The annual list made by London-based research firm Henley & Partners ranks all the world’s passports according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.

Asian nations Japan, Singapore, and South Korea secured the top 3 spots this year, while Afghanistan landed at the bottom.

Earlier this year, the country had a higher place, ranking 77th. For the past two years, it was in the 74th spot.

Philippine passport holders can access 66 travel destinations without a visa.
