MANILA, Philippines — The Ateneo de Manila University will open its own drive-through and walk-through RT-PCR testing facility, the BlueSwab, for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on July 1.
“BlueSwab is a service of AMPLify (Ateneo Molecular Pathology Laboratory), part of Ateneo de Manila University’s response to the nation’s call for more diagnostic facilities to help ramp up testing capacity as one way to fight the pandemic, and all other notifiable infectious diseases,” Ateneo said in a statement.
The service is open to the public from Mondays to Fridays from 7 a.m. to 12 noon, and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Those interested in availing of the test must book an appointment at least a day before their preferred date of swabbing through blueswab.ateneo.edu.
The test is priced at ₱3,400 for tests done on weekdays, where results will be released on the same day, while tests done on Sundays are priced at ₱3,000, as results will be released on Monday evening.
