P5.5-B Carbon Market rehabilitation sets groundbreaking in March

CEBU CITY— Next month, a ceremonial groundbreaking will be held that will signal the start of the P5.5 billion rehabilitation project of the Carbon Market.
 
Manila-based Megawide Construction Corp. sealed a public-private partnership with the city government that would transform the market into a commercial, heritage and cultural district.

Louie Ferrer, managing director of Megawide, said the company embarked on the mammoth project as part of the company’s vision to develop a “first world Cebu.”
